The traditional auction house has grown to become one of the finest international houses anywhere in the world. The construction of the new building will not affect sales and the whole restoration project is planned to complete by December 2013. The designer of the luxury auction house is well known around the world for innovative and very high profile designs. The company are extremely excited to have been given the challenging project for such a prestigious name as Bonhams, and promise that their luxury design will respond to British history while at the same time realising Bonhams vision.

The chairman for Bonhams said that the expansion was needed due to the fact that over the last 10 years the auction house has grown significantly to become one of the leaders and as such they have outgrown their current facilities. When the construction of the new building is completed it will become an enhancement to what is a very historic area of London and will be one of the most fantastic auction houses anywhere in the world.

Bonhams auction house was founded in 1793 and today is one of the largest and also the oldest houses of luxury fine arts and antiques. Today they offer more sales than any other auction house with two large salesrooms in London, four more throughout the United Kingdom and more scattered around the world. The brand name has more representatives in over 25 countries and undertake valuations in more than 57 specialist areas.
