luxury and fine dining. It was established in 1998 and due to popularity it expanded in 2006. It offers 50 seats in the dining room and won the Restaurant of the Year
awards in 2000 from the Finnish Gastronomic Society. In 2002 it received a Michelin star and in the following year received a further two Michelin stars. It also has the title of being among the 50
very best restaurants in the world when it took the 23rd place in 2010 as voted for by Restaurant Magazine UK.

Chez Dominique since 1988. He took the title of
very best restaurateur in 2003 courtesy of the International Food and Beverage Forum.
Hans Valimakis book entitled At home in the Kitchen was chosen as the Cookbook of the Year in 2004 and he has also written a book about the restaurant, grilling and a book about some of the
very best luxury desserts in
the world. The restaurant offers superb dining for those who enjoy a
luxury lifestyle and want an unforgettable night out along with those who prefer a quiet light lunch of two or three courses during the day.
The maitre d Pekka Koiranen is one of the
very best and is known to be a living legend among the sommeliers in Finland. Mr. Koiranen selects only the
very best wines from some of the smallest and very interesting suppliers from around France. Mixed in with these are some of the

Chez Dominique offers a four course menu, seven courses, nine courses and a special Valentine’s Day menu. There is no restaurant more suited for that romantic dinner for two than this one. Imagine sitting down in a soft candle lit setting and the enjoying the ambiance created as music is gently piped around the dining room. The menu for the night includes oyster, pearl and caviar along with langoustine and roses, perfect for Valentines romantics.
