Lina Frangie-Wagner is niece of the former President Suleiman Frangie; she left Lebanon at a young age with her family for Switzerland due to the conflict that tore apart her country for years. After attending school and college in the sheltered city of Geneva, she devoted her early professional career to private banking in banks such as Chase Manhattan and Julius Baer. A profession she carried out intensely for her relationships with her clients opening up a whole new dimension into the vast arena of different needs of human beings.

In the midst of an active professional life, Linas spare time went to the creations of works of art stemming from a childhood passion of cutting out meticulously hundreds of different materials and marrying them together to create inspired works of art based on themes. The need to create took over her banking career. Lina became a fulltime accomplished artist.

With more time to seek inspiration, she turned to her native soil and travelled extensively throughout Lebanon. The war had ravaged the lives of many and left deep sequels. She was made aware that there were families in genuine need, irrespective of creed or political affinity. For those that know Linas generous nature, it was self understood that her art was to have a new purpose: to collect through the sale of her creations funds for worthy charitable cause.

Lina Frangie-Wagner is a dedicated Ambassador of the Lebanese Order of Malta and has answered with pleasure our 2 questions:
What Brings You Happiness?
What brings me happiness is when I find happiness and make happiness. I embrace happiness. It is discovering who I am who I want to be and I pave the way to my happiness by doing what brings me the most meaning and contentment. For me happiness is through fidelity to a worthy purpose.

Hope is itself a form of happiness, and, perhaps, the chief happiness which this world affords. Happiness for me it is not in accumulating or in receiving, but only in giving, sharing, smiling and hugging. Happiness for me is like a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. It is a state of well being which enables me to benefit from my thoughts, wisdom, intelligence, common sense, emotions, health, and spiritual values in my life. For me happiness is a person with a certain set of attitudes. It is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim of a human being.

What Would You Change (If You Could) To Make Our World A Better Place?
GIVING- Helping a cause, (Start a non-profit spending the money I have raised on the cause I love) - Changing my spending habit - Waste less and recycle more (cleaning up and save the environment) - Free the children, changing their future around the world , better school (reform our educational system)- End world hunger. INSPIRE OTHERS: doing anything to help, at the same time, is a great way to change other peoples thoughts. With each new seed of influence planted in a person's head, the more likely that person is to one day take action themselves. Staying positive, sticking to my beliefs, over time, people will begin to see the kind of joy I live my life with and they will want to be like me. My efforts will have an impact even with people I never thought I could persuade.

CREATIVITY is the synonym of change. This can as well be in a work of art, a great product as in finding a new health product. Thanks to creativity, those in need manage to survive. Creativity has its characteristics of giftedness which is entelechy, a term derived from the Greek word for having a goal. Entelechy is a particular type of motivation, need for self-determination, and an inner strength and vital force directing life and growth to become all one is capable of being. Gifted people with entelechy are often attractive to others who feel drawn to their openness and to their dreams and visions. Being near someone with this trait gives others hope and determination to achieve their own self-actualization. This is perhaps also one of the qualities that make eccentrics so engaging and endearing.
