The charity UNICEF has got together with some of the very best designers and brand names from all over the world for the Frimousses de Createurs event. The designers each create a small doll which will then be on show and will be auctioned off for the charity. Some very famous names have got involved with the charity and produced some stunning results. Names such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney, Moschino and Gavin Rajah have all given up their time and their expertise when it comes to design. South African designer Rajah who is the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador created one of the high fashion dolls to support the charity. Mr. Rajah was of course only one of the many select designers who were commissioned to participate in the event. The glamorous luxury creation of Gavin Rajah will go on display along with some of the very best creations from such as Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, Nina Ricci, Prada and Versace.

The luxury creation from Gavin Rajah is embellished with diamonds and gold which have been donated by Galaxy who have worked on the decoration of the doll with Rajah. His creation is on show in Paris as part of the Frimousses de Créateurs et Frimousses du Monde event and will then be auctioned alongside the many other excellent creations to come from some of the very best designers and names associated with fashion from around the world. Louis Vuittons designer doll was decorated in blue and black, the black high laced boots and matching hat were striking and very different from what you would see by way of the traditional Barbie doll. Christian Diors doll looked very pretty in a white flouncy dress with dark blue bows with matching sneakers and wide brimmed dark blue hat with blonde hair cascading elegantly. Dolce & Gabbana along with Emanuel Ungaro went for a pink look with their dolls, again black was featured to compliment the pink. Dries Van Noten, Damian Hirst, Jeff Koons and Gucci decided to paint and embroider their creations. The bright orange designer doll from Christian Lacroix stood out as did the fluffy pink of the Fifi Chachnil design. Cartier took a panther design with a dress made from leopard print and Sonia Rykiel designed a very unusual three headed doll. Armanis doll looked as though it would be right at home on the catwalk, in a stunning black and white fitted dress with rose print. Ellie Saab stole the hearts of 10 year old girls with her wedding dress inspired doll which was simply incredible.

For the fourth consecutive year, theses superb unique creations will be exposed in Paris in the Petit Palais ( Museum of Fine Arts of the city of Paris) for the month of November. All creations will be auctionned on the 7th of December at Drouot Montaigne. All funds collected by Unicef will help them care concretly for the children of Darfour where there is a deep humanitarian crisis.
