Loewe is known around the world as being one of the very best when it comes to luxury leather goods. The Spanish brand name is owned by the LVMH Group and the luxury leather handbags and coats are coveted by women and men around the globe.

Loewe began life in 1846 when founder Enrique Loewe Roessberg Loewe set up his first shop in Madrid. The German craftsman quickly became known as one of the very best when it came to designing and manufacturing luxury leather goods.

By 1905 Enrique Loewe Hilton was at the helm of the family business and King Alfonso XII gave the brand name the title of suppliers to the Royal House. Five years later Loewe opened their first store in Barcelona and by the end of 1923 more stores followed. In 1945 Perez de Rozas started to create bags in boxcalf and this was to become the signature product for the luxury brand name. During the 1960s Loewe began to expand internationally with stores in London.
