Rene Fernando, Edoardos son, forged the link between art and fashion with his sights firmly set on the high end luxury market. He went on to introduce luxury evening shoes of the very best, jeweled lifestyle creations and chaussures. Rene gave birth to the fetish creations which carried the emblem of Valentino and collaborations with Christian Dior, Chanel and Lagerfeld.

Today Rene Fernando Caovilla is one of the leading figures of luxury and received the Leonardo Qualita Italia award from the president of the Italian Republic in 2006, thanking Rene for his excellent career. The award came following recognition of a very successful year which saw Rene in one of the leading american lifestyle magazines the award for the best evening shoes. Daughter Giorgia joined her father in the running of the company and received the Minerva Award in 2006 for entrepreneurship, while son Edoardo manages the finances of the company.
