Louis Vuitton usually think very carefully before opening a
luxury flagship store, so the announcement of opening two global stores in Shanghai in April 2010, came as a surprise to many. As with anything that has the
Louis Vuitton brand name, the design and architecture of the stores is one of
luxury lifestyle. Thanks to architect Peter Marino, who designed both buildings with as much flair as
Louis Vuitton design their
luxury wares.
The latest global stores to have the red ribbon cut were in Huaihai Road and the Pudong district. The business district of Lujiazui in the Pudong district is one of the largest financial centers in the world and will be the site of the
superb Expo Shanghai 2010, with the theme, "A Better City, A Better Life".
The two global stores will showcase
luxury designs from
Louis Vuitton. These will include
luxury handbags, luggage, shoes, watches, textiles and other
lifestyle accessories, providing one of the
very best in shopping experiences.
President of
Louis Vuitton, Yves Carcelle, said everyone was delighted that
Louis Vuitton had opened two flagship stores in Shanghai.
Louis Vuitton has always enjoyed a very special relationship with Shanghai and the opening of the
luxurious stores pays tribute to
Louis Vuitton and Shanghai. The stores unique integration of dynamic population and design elements offer those who visit a truly unforgettable
luxury experience in shopping.
