"Le Rosey" was established in 1880 by Paul-Emile Carnal, a private luxury boarding school it is the oldest in Switzerland and one of the very best and prestigious educational institutes anywhere in the world. The luxury school is known more commonly as Rosey or Le Rosey with the main campus being situated close to the town of Rolle. The Rosey boarding school owns a campus situated in Gstaad, it is here where the staff, faculty and students retreat during the winter, January through to March.

Rosey boarding school is now in the hands of the fourth generation of Directors. In 1980, Philippe and Anne Gudin became owners of the school and have ever since devoted their lives and energies to enhance the standard of education and allocated the school's ressources to continuously add on new luxury lifestyle facilities.
