The brand name
Bugatti is one that is recognised throughout the world as being among the
very best when it comes to
luxury automobiles. The
Bugatti family were known for being the
very best engineering geniuses of their time, combined with quality
lifestyle and artistic talent.
The head of the family was Giovanni
Bugatti, however the family really only became noticed at the turn of the 20th century when Carlo
Bugatti, the second born, earned himself international acclaim. This was due to the unique and revolutionary
luxury designs of furniture; designed by Carlo, using some of the most exotic materials from all over the world. These
luxury materials would be incorporated into the vehicles that were to come from
Bugatti in the future.
Ettore and Rembrandt
Bugatti both had their father’s skills when it came to engineering. However, it was Ettore who’s high standards and
luxury craftsmanship, the definition of his engineering work, which would leave the motor industry in awe. Ettore's son Roland, went on to take over the family business when the second World War had passed. Sadly,
Bugatti were unable to keep up with the ever-changing developments in the motor industry, and manufacturing came to a halt, for some time to come. However, one thing set
Bugatti apart from the numerous legions of their former competitors. As a
luxury lifestyle brand,
Bugatti lived on, and it did not become a memory of the past.
