Steinway and Sons, manufacturers of some of the world’s
very best pianos over a period of 150 years, and Peter Lyngdorf, an innovator in digital audio for
luxury home entertainment systems. The headquarters of the newly formed company are based in Hamburg, with the company being founded in 2005 by Peter Lyngdorf. The company represents the passion for being able to create some of the finest
luxury products in the world of audio. They focus on being able to do this without compromise or precedence. Their sights set on design and in the manufacturing of equipment of high performance and innovative digital audio systems, combining artistry, perfection in technology, and the finest possible artisanship. Lyngdorf has been responsible for some of the most significant in breakthroughs to be seen throughout the world. Before founding the company with Steinway, he was part owner of high-end companies. These included "Snell Acoustics", where he developed the first full range DSP room-correction device in the world. He also was responsible for the first digital amplifier in 1998, the "Millennium".
Steinway & Sons have been in the business of pianos dating back as far as 1853, and have set standards in sound,
lifestyle, beauty and investment. Each of their
Steinway & Sons pianos has been handcrafted, taking up to a full year to construct. The time taken results in an instrument that is
