On one particular design the skirt consisted of very detailed handwork which has been seen in the last few collections of the fashion designer and which have been very popular. In this collection the skirt had very intricate braiding and was matched with a sheer blouse which was wrapped in embroidery. This gave the luxury design the impression of the wings of a bird of prey closing around the torso of the graceful model on the catwalk. The spring and summer collection from Alberta Ferretti, one of the worlds very best fashion designers shows a shot of creative revitalization into her fashion designs.

The Italian born fashion designer has her showroom in Milan and a studio near Rimini in Italy. The designer has come a long way since opening her first boutique in 1986 and designing her fist her collection in 1973. Alberta first began showing her seasonal collections on runways in Milan in 1981 and has continued expanding on her fashion career. The designer is most well known for her luxury fashion designs which feature draping, tucking and twisting techniques to provide a subtle layered look.
