Chopard has always been associated with jewelry of the very best and this is seen in the latest creations of their collection. The first creation is a unique and delightful apple shaped ring that has a tangy radiance thanks to its 200 brown diamonds and 800 tsavorites which total more than 57.2 carats. The
jewelry craftsman at the House of Chopard have also created a
luxury floral inspired necklace that had been designed with more than 1,100 diamonds, pink sapphire and rubies which total more than 38.8 carats and is a spectacular creation.
These two
jewelry designs come from the artisans in Geneva where they are also very busy crafting 63 more creations, each of which are of the
very best in uniqueness. The
jewelry collection will be unveiled to the public on the festival opening night which is to be held on May 16th along with other surprises. Chopard will be partnering the Cannes Film Festival for the 15th year running and the Red Carpet Collection will comprise of more than 65 creations from this, one of the most prestigious of
jewelry designers. Each year since 2007 Chopard has created a new
jewelry collection that is totally unique and Red Carpet Collection is to be no exception. The collection takes its inspiration from the actresses who play a part in
mounting the steps which has become a ritual, along with walking red carpets the world over. Co-presidents and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele has been attending the festival for more than 15 years and knows all too well the frenzied atmosphere which surrounds the festival and the mounting of the Palais des Festivals stairs. Ms. Scheufele said that she has had the chance to meet many actresses and has over the year established friendships with them. It was these relationships with such outstanding personalities that led to the creation of unique and original pieces to ensure that each and every woman wearing them will find
jewelry to suit her perfectly for that special night. For the
luxury Red Carpet Collection the
jewelry has been designed around the theme of colors. The collection will feature precious stones, tanzanite, kunzite, rubies, emeralds, padparadscha and of course some of the
very best diamonds.
