Salvatore Piccolo designs fashion shirts that are tailored for both the body and the mind.
Just 32 years of age his history seems to have begun many centuries ago. At sixteen years of age Salvatore went to work in a shirt factory and was content at that time to be a warehouseman. However he quickly began to recognize the quality of the very best
fabrics and it was at this time that he took his first steps towards the future.
Salvatore decided he wanted to set up on his own and by observing his mothers hard work and determination, along with being supported by some of the very best
master tailors, he specialized in pattern creation and in the cut. In a very short space of time the workload increased so much so that Salvatore left his small workshop and moved to a factory when he began his luxury fashion
design work. At this time he did not realize that the shirts he was designing were being worn by some of the most influential Neapolitan customers and in a short space of time would cross national confines. Salvatore had an understanding when it came to the very best
fabrics and realized that success when it came to luxury fashion
was listening to what his customers want.On the initial meeting he takes the clients measurements and tries to get an understanding of what each client wants. Salvatore realizes that people want to be at ease and therefore his fashion
designs are based on the measure of both body and mind.
Some of the luxury
details his clients love about his designs include the collar and cuffs intelati, which are stitched straight on to the tissue as opposed to being posted on. This allows for a classier touch. However one of the best sellers which Salvatore has a patent for is the shirt with a pence near the elbow which allows better movement of the arms.Salvatore Piccolo is among the very few luxury fashion
designers and artisans who produce shirts that are made to measure completely by hand and using real artisan systems. Each of the luxury
shirts are cut by hand individually and the fabrics washed at 40 degrees. A personal body and collar pattern is then created by hand for each individual customer. On a two months basis he travels to New York where he meets with his old and new customers on Madison Avenue. This is where the very best
corporate executives, businessmen and managers meet up with Salvatore for their periodical orders which of course are tailor made orders. Salvatore also travels worldwide to London, Monte Carlo, Qatar and Azerbaijan, among others, where he has created a circle of customers who are dedicated to his fashion
designs. They include some of the most important men in the world. He creates a specific body pattern for each of these men and does not preclude the choice of collars and cuffs model.
